Creative Director, Photographer & Tutor - BA Industrial Design

Andre Moonen's creative vision was instrumental in a colourful career that has taken him front-of-stage as a singer-songwriter, as an online content producer for commercial radio stations and as a graphic designer. Today it is photography and video production he is most passionate about and well known for.

His innovative approach as well as a simple and natural style has contributed to his success in the industry. Andre has been commissioned by clients such as Lindt Chocolate, Subway Australia, Samsung, Nova Radio Station, Australian Trade Commission, Tourism Australia, Southern Star Entertainment and The Entertainment Quarter to name a few. He has photographed countless events and festivals including the ARIA Awards, The Byron Bay Blues & Roots Festival, Good Vibrations Festival, and Australian Fashion Week.

Andre has written course content for and regularly teaches short course at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). He also runs photography workshops and private training.

When he’s not on location or in his studio, Andre spends time in the great outdoors capturing nature and landscapes. He shares his experiences with thousands of photography enthusiasts on his ‘Take Beautiful Photos’ - Australian Photography Community website blog and Facebook Page (facebook.com/takebeautifulphotos).

The Studio

Moonen Creative Studios is a complete digital photography facility providing quality studio and on location photography and training services.

Our studio has been operating for 4 years and is comprised of design, marketing, photography, videography and audio professionals.

Studio based services specialise in photography (studio and on location), training (photography and digital media) and design (print, web, & branding). Offsite, our Glebe and North Sydney locations focus on videography and audio production.

Most of all, we are passionate, approachable and professional.

Take Beautiful Photos is an Australian Photographic Community that showcases beautiful images as well as exposing how they were captured and the stories behind them. We encourage our audience to share their passion for photography and promote their own creative images on Facebook.

Creative Director, Andre Moonen regularly posts insightful articles about his experiences in the industry capturing nature, landscapes, portraits, fashion, product and urban life. Andre also invites guest photographers to also share their experiences and give the community audeince an opportunity to ask them questions, gaining helpful insight.
